Usage
- SERTAHIDE CREAM is used to treat superficial fungal infections of the skin.
- It is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts, and other pathogenic fungi.
- The cream is particularly useful in treating conditions like tinea pedis
(athlete’s foot), tinea corporis (ringworm), and tinea cruris (jock itch).
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Sertaconazole or any other component of the cream.
- Avoid using the cream on open wounds or mucous membranes, such as inside the
mouth or nose.
- Not suitable for patients with a history of allergic reactions to other
imidazole antifungals.
Side Effects
- Mild burning or stinging sensation at the application site.
