Usage

• Primary Function: JOYVAS 10 helps reduce the production of cholesterol in the liver, thereby decreasing overall cholesterol levels and reducing the risk of plaque build-up in arteries.
• Dosage: Take as prescribed by your healthcare provider. It is generally taken once daily with or without food.
• Precautions: Before using, inform your doctor of any allergies, medical history, or concurrent medications, especially other cholesterol-lowering agents or blood thinners.

Contraindications

Not Suitable For:

• Patients with active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations in liver enzymes.
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid the use of JOYVAS 10.
• Individuals allergic to Atorvastatin or any of its components.
• Patients with a history of muscle disorders related to statin use.

Side Effects

• Common Side Effects: Mild muscle pain or weakness, diarrhea or upset stomach, fatigue or dizziness.
• Serious Side Effects (rare but possible): Severe muscle pain or tenderness, unexplained weight loss, dark urine or jaundice, allergic reactions such as swelling or rashes.
• Consult a healthcare provider if any serious side effects occur.

Directions of Use

• When to Take: Usually taken once daily. Follow the schedule as directed by your healthcare provider.
• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.
• Avoid: Grapefruit or grapefruit juice, as it may increase the amount of Atorvastatin in your bloodstream, potentially leading to side effects.

Disposal
