- Respiratory tract infections
- Urinary tract infections

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity: Known hypersensitivity to cefixime or other cephalosporin antibiotics
- Renal Impairment: Severe renal impairment unless under strict medical supervision
- Cross-reactivity: History of severe allergic reactions to penicillin
