Fapan SF Suspension

Usage

• Indications: FAPAN - SF SUSPENSION is used for the treatment of:

• Gastritis and gastric ulcers
• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Other conditions associated with excess stomach acid

• Mechanism: Oxetacaine acts as a local anesthetic, providing quick relief from pain, while Sucralfate forms a protective barrier over the ulcer, facilitating healing.

Contraindications

• Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity to Oxetacaine, Sucralfate, or any other component of the formulation.
• Caution is advised in patients with significant kidney issues.

Side Effects

• Common side effects may include:

• Nausea or vomiting
• Constipation or diarrhea
• Dry mouth

• Serious side effects: Rarely, allergic reactions may occur, characterized by:

• Rash, itching, or swelling
• Severe dizziness or trouble breathing

Directions for Use

• Dosage: Follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding dosage.
• Administration: Shake well before use. Take the suspension orally, preferably 30 minutes before meals.
